Master Nora Cooke
Having begun her practice of taekwondo at eight years old, Nora discovered a passion for martial arts that has remained alight ever since.DDDD
Nora has twenty years experience in taekwondo, as well as over a decade's experience as an instructor. She has also competed in a range of poomsae competitions at the state, national and international level, and has earned gold at both the Victorian State Championship and the Australian National Championship.
Outside of martial arts, Nora enjoys weight training, distance running and cycling, and has a strong commitment to continuous improvement in fitness and performance. She is motivated to always bring her best to everything she does, and inspires the same zeal in her students of taekwondo.
Master Daniel Trenton
As a dual Olympian, Daniel is Australia’s most decorated and successful Taekwondo athlete,having a won a multitude of national and international medals including his unforgettable Silver medal performance at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
Daniel has extensive expertise as a coach and program director. He has produced numerous World Champions and medalists as the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) Head Coach, and the Australian Olympic Team Head Coach for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
A current global patron for the sport of Taekwondo, Daniel has been appointed by the President of the International Olympic Committee as "Athlete Role Model" for the Youth Olympic Games 2010 and by the Asia Olympic Council as "Head Coach" for the Youth Olympic Camp 2013. Daniel now contributes to the global sport of Taekwondo in his capacity as "Director of Sports" for Sports Taekwondo Australia (National Governing Body) and Oceania Taekwondo Union (Regional Governing Body) and has also recently been appointed by the World Taekwondo Federation as "Vice Chair" for the department of Education and Development.
Currently practicing as a commercial lawyer he has advised some of Australia's leading entertainment and sporting talent.
Daniel is a friendly and inspirational teacher who brings his highly distinguished experience as an athlete, coach and director to lead the Be Taekwondo Team.
